It's time to welcome you all back!

Welcome to our first newsletter of 2021 and as we begin to emerge from lockdown we cannot wait to open and safely welcome you all back! 
 

We will open on the 1st of April and will be available for surf and SUP lessons and equipment hire. We are going to be open everyday throughout the Easter holidays and we have plenty of availability on all of our lessons including group and private lessons and our ever popular discounted 5 day surf course for 8-16 year olds (w/c 12th April).

We are prepared and covid safe - group sizes are small and we’re all observing social distancing and disinfecting equipment.

We’ve got a packed agenda of surf courses lined up throughout the season and there’s something to suit everyone, from our standard lessons to Fast Track surf courses, 5 day surf courses and Surf Club courses. We’ve invested in plenty of new kit including SUPs, kayaks and surfboards, and can’t wait to get out on the water.

Our Surf Club courses were very popular last year - these are for children aged 8-16yrs who have already had a surf lesson with us at Discovery and are keen to surf regularly with like minded children, develop their surf skills and have lots of fun! The courses will start from the 20th of April.  You can choose from a Saturday/Sunday or Tuesday afterschool session, so there should be a time to suit everyone. There are limited places so please get in touch if you’re keen to get booked in.

We’ve set the date for this years’ ASI Level 1 Surf Instructor course - 19th/20th June. This comprehensive course is a great way to combine your love of surfing with a career that can take you around the world.  Beach Lifeguard training is conducted by Coast to Coast Water safety and they have a full agenda of courses available as well.

Becky Hickman is again going to be offering yoga on the beach with the added class of SUP Yoga. See her website for more details. Excited about trying this myself!
