Learn from one of Englands top coaches Jess Harvey. Jess is a Surfing England Trainer/Assessor, and Sport England strength & Conditioning coach. Jess is also a Discovery Surf School Manager and coach.

Course Dates
2025 dates are not set yet, but we are looking to run a course in June.
To become a surf instructor you'll also need to complete a SLSGB Beach Lifeguard Course, which can be done here in Devon with Coast to Coast.
Many people who have completed our course have gone on to work with us and become part of our Discovery team. In order to teach at any surf school, you will also need a beach lifeguard qualification or surf coach safety award
